we have been featured

Place to Drink’.awards. We also featured in
the Independent Newspaper’s ‘Best of Liverpool’
supplement. For a number of years we have been one of
only a few Liverpool restaurant to gain an ‘A star’
for particularly good
food, value and atmosphere’ in the Observer/Hardens
Guide to Eating in Great Britain. |

We
were possibly the first ‘Gastropub’ in Britain…
certainly in Liverpool.
For 35 years we have been one of Liverpool’s top venues for fine food at
affordable prices, combined with a great atmosphere and a fantastic
bar.
Our menu changes twice daily and is never the same twice. Many of our customers
eat here every day… and sometimes twice a day! Food is sourced from local
suppliers whenever possible. We use only prime
ingredients and everything is prepared from scratch…
no ‘boil in the bag’ here!
